On the afternoon of 14th March, 2018, under the unified arrangement of Anqing Foreign Language School, party member representatives, league member representatives, some students from the Volunteer Association and the foreign teachers went to the rehabilitation training center for disabled children in the Home of Muyang of Yingjiang District to carry out the visit and exchange activities of "Learning from Lei Feng and Showing Love".
First of all, teachers and students from Anqing Foreign Language School listened to a wonderful lesson by the teachers from the Home of Muyang in the teaching area.
Second of all, under the unified arrangement of Anqing Foreign Language School's International Department, the foreign teachers taught a novel and active oral English class to the children from the Home of Muyang, which won the intermittent applause from both the parents and teachers.
Third of all, students from Anqing Foreign Language School visited the functional areas of the center in batches, walked into the lives of the disabled children undergoing rehabilitation training here, experienced the daily rehabilitation education work of the rehabilitation center in person, interacted with the children intimately and communicated with the teachers and parents kindly.
Fourth of all, teacher Zhang introduced the background, development concept, team building and the implementation of volunteer activities of the Home of Muyang to the students and teachers from Anqing Foreign Language School in details.
Fifth of all, teacher Sun Yijun, Secretary of the general Party branch of Anqing Foreign Language School presented gifts to the Home of Muyang on behalf of Anqing Foreign Language School.
In conclusion, all the teachers and students of Anqing Foreign Language School were moved by the children's initiative and optimism, the parents' adamancy and perseverance as well as the teachers' love and endeavor. After the activity, students of Anqing Foreign Language School expressed that they would spread the idea of the Home of Muyang, encourage more people around to care about and help disabled children, cherish the present and become the citizens who know how to be grateful, optimistic and strong.
